INTEGER – A Nigerian Startup that Pays You to Train You
Introduction to INTEGER
It’s 2017 and we still struggle with many things in Africa, two of those are education and employment.
Out of the passion to create a social impact, INTEGER! was born. Now, who is Integer?
Integer is a talent acceleration startup in Nigeria that finds talents in Africa, train these talents and give them a job when they are good enough – all for free. Yes, FREE.
HOW IT WORKS
Integer releases a form online publicly for interested candidates to fill and submit. After submission, candidates will go through a series of personality and self-study tests; be screened and invited for a 2 weeks boot-camp where candidates will be taught the rudimentary of software and business development. The top performing candidates from the boot-camp will then be enlisted for an intensive 3 months training where they will be mentored and given real life projects to work on.
At the end of the third month, candidates are then offered a full time employment with the company and be paid an attractive monthly salary with other bonuses.
The Integer Assembly program is meant to last for two years, during which the candidates will be paid and keep developing their skills by working on real world client projects. At the end of the second (2nd) year, you can choose to leave or remain with the company.
The following are the learning tracks offered by Integer at the moment:
- Front-end Development
- Back-end Development
- Mobile App Development
- Design Thinking & Product Management
- Business Development
The first Integer Iteration kicked off on the 31st of May, 2017 and application closes on the 28th of June, 2017.
The integer recruitment process is scheduled to run twice a year.
This is an amazing opportunity for everyone.
